Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc across row, ch 2, turn. (32 hdc)
Row 2: hdc in next 15 sts, 2 hdc in next st (an inc made) twice (this is for curve of heel), hdc in next 15 sts, ch 2, turn. (34 hdc)
Row 3: dec over 1st 2 sts twice (for curve of toe), hdc in next 13 hdc, inc in next st twice, 13 hdc, dec over next 2 sts twice, ch 2, turn. (32 sts)
Row 4: dec over 1st 2 sts twice, hdc in next 24 sts, dec over next 2 sts twice, ch 1, turn. (28 sts)
Row 5: st st in next 5 sts, hdc in next 18 sts, leave last 5 sts unworked, ch 2, turn. (18 sts)
Rows 6 thru 14: hdc across, ch 1, turn. (18 hdc)
at end of 14th row, ch 1, turn.
Row 15: (edging) sc in 1st st, ch 3, sc in same st, * skip 1 st, sc in next st, ch 3, sc in same st, repeat 3 more times; skip 1 st, sc in next st, ch 10 (for hanging loop), sc in same st, *sk 1 st, sc in next st, ch 3, sc in same st, repeat from * 3 more times; sc in last st.
Finishing edge: Do not cut off yarn. sc down side and continue around all edges to beginning of edging. Fold stocking in half and loosely slip st edges together through the scs.
