1st Row: With Watermelon work a ch 85 inches long, cut yarn, fasten securely.
2nd Row: Leaving 3 inches free at end, attach yarn in next st of ch, work a sl st in each st to within last 3 inches, cut yarn, fasten securely.
Work 1 Lilac and 1 Chartreuse chain in same manner.
FINISHING: Leaving the single chains free, fasten the 3 strips tog at beg of sl sts having wrong side of sl sts on top. Braid the 3 strips tog to end of sl sts, fasten securely.
POMPONS: (Make 6; 2 of each color). Wind yarn 30 times over a 2 inch cardboard. Slip off cardboard, tie at center, cut both ends and trim into shape. Tie one in matching color to each free ch at both ends.

NOTES:
Fits 19 in. doll w/ composition body & following dimensions:
11.5 in chest, measured under arms
15 in chest, measured over arms
14 in from base of neck to bottom of feet
12.5 in. circumference porcelain head
MATERIALS:
Size 10 crochet cotton thread
*Size 4 steel hook
2 rubberbands to fit around doll’s wrist without stretching
*If you customarily crochet to gauge in patterns, then the author recommends that you use a steel hook 3 in this pattern, rather than a 4. The author crochets loosely.

Materials:
10 m satin ribbon
7.00 m crochet hook
1 large goodie ponytail holder
Directions:
Round 1: sc an even number of sts all around band, ss in first sc to join.
Round 2: Ch 1 (counts as 1 sc), 2 sc in next sc, * 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat from * all around. fasten off and sew in ends with either invisible thread or matching color thread
